More about this game
In Seven Heads for Excalibur, you face a massive hydra with seven independent heads anchored to the arena. The beast telegraphs its moves before executing rapid lunges or firing magic projectiles. You must dodge these attacks and strike back with your sword to deplete the 70 health points of each head. As you destroy heads, the remaining ones attack faster. The run ends when your 100 health points drop to zero, or when you successfully defeat all seven heads to save the princess.
Tips
- Keep moving to avoid the magic projectiles, which travel at a speed of 420, and remember they disappear if they miss and leave the arena bounds.
- Your sword deals 18 damage per hit and has a 0.34-second cooldown, so it takes exactly four strikes to destroy a single head with 70 health.
- When you take damage, you receive a brief invulnerability window of 0.72 seconds, which you should use to reposition away from overlapping hydra attacks.
FAQ
- How much damage do the hydra attacks deal?
- A direct hit from a lunging head deals 13 damage to your hero, while getting struck by a blue magic projectile deals 9 damage. You start with a maximum of 100 health points.
- How do I know when a head will attack?
- A head will flash a red circle around itself for exactly 0.62 seconds to telegraph its attack. After this warning, it will either lunge at your position for 0.34 seconds or cast a projectile.
- Can I hit multiple heads at once?
- Yes, your sword slash has a range of 180 and a wide arc. Any head caught within this area will take 18 damage, allowing you to damage grouped heads simultaneously.
