More about this game
Your goal is to swim as far as possible to escape the facility, aiming for the 5000-meter secret ending. The core loop involves holding the screen to dive and releasing to surface, balancing your 40-second oxygen supply against surface and underwater hazards. Difficulty increases every 500 meters as your swimming speed accelerates. A run ends if you run out of oxygen and pass out, or if you lose your three lives by hitting obstacles like sharks, mines, or patrol boats.
Tips
- Watch your depth carefully. Diving into the lower mid-depth zone triggers a high-pressure warning, which drains your 40-second oxygen supply 1.25 times faster.
- Avoid the seaweed at the bottom of the sea bed. Touching it will entangle you for 2.4 seconds, slowing your escape and leaving you vulnerable.
- If you get hit, use your 5 seconds of invulnerability to reposition. You will be knocked back at least 160 pixels, so recover your rhythm quickly.
FAQ
- What happens when my oxygen reaches zero?
- If your oxygen depletes completely while underwater, you will pass out and drown, ending your run. You receive warnings at 20 percent and 10 percent remaining capacity to remind you to surface.
- How do I unlock different diver suits?
- You earn points equal to the distance you travel on each run. You can spend these points in the main menu store to buy skins like the Stealth Diver or Neon Runner.
- Why did my character stop moving at the surface?
- If you surface with critically low oxygen, your character enters a mandatory three-second recovery state to catch their breath. You cannot dive again until this lock expires and your oxygen refills.
