More about this game
Take the wheel in a fast-paced top-down race across three distinct courses. Your primary goal is to complete three full laps on each track before the strict 42-second timer runs out. Along the way, collect scattered coins to build your boost meter and hit speed pads for a massive burst of speed. The difficulty increases with each new course, adding dangerous hazards like bouncing shells and slippery oil slicks that will severely slow you down if hit. A run ends if you run out of time or successfully clear all three cups.
Tips
- Prioritize hitting the speed pads scattered on the track, as they provide a massive 2-second speed boost that helps you ignore upcoming hazards.
- Collect as many coins as possible to slowly fill your boost meter; each coin adds a small but crucial amount to your overall top speed.
- Watch out for the dark oil slicks that appear on the later courses, as driving over them will slow your kart down for over a full second.
FAQ
- How do I get a speed boost?
- You can get a speed boost by driving over the glowing speed pads, which give a 2-second burst of speed, or by collecting coins to gradually fill your boost meter.
- What happens if I hit a hazard?
- Hitting obstacles like bananas, green shells, or oil slicks will instantly slow your kart down. Bananas and shells slow you for 0.65 seconds, while oil slicks slow you for 1.05 seconds.
- How many courses are there?
- There are exactly three courses in the cup: a starting circuit, a castle track, and a rainbow road. You must complete three laps on each before the 42-second timer runs out.
