More about this game
In Shadows of Elysium, your goal is to defeat a series of opponents in 1v1 combat. You choose one of six fighters, each with unique speed, power, and reach stats. In Story mode, you face four consecutive battles across different arenas with a 60-second time limit per round, carefully managing your health and attack cooldowns. The run ends when your health reaches zero, the timer runs out, or you defeat the final champion to seal the veil.
Tips
- Punches have a short 0.38-second cooldown, making them great for quick strikes, while kicks have a longer 0.58-second cooldown but reach further.
- Guarding reduces incoming damage to 22 percent of its normal value, but you cannot move or attack while holding the block button.
- Special attacks have a longer 0.85-second cooldown and unique ranges. Raven's special includes a fast shadow dash that closes the gap quickly.
FAQ
- How do the fighters differ?
- Each of the six fighters has unique multipliers for speed, power, and reach. For example, Raven has 1.25x speed but 0.85x power, while Orion has 1.25x power but 0.85x speed.
- What happens when the timer runs out?
- If the 60-second clock reaches zero, the match ends. The fighter with the most health remaining wins, or it ends in a draw if health is equal.
- What is Training mode?
- Training mode gives both fighters unlimited health and removes the match timer. It allows you to practice movement, combos, and special attacks without the pressure of a real bout.
