More about this game
In Western Road Dodge, you drive a car down a three-lane desert highway. Your goal is to travel as far as possible without crashing. Obstacles like cacti, rocks, and tumbleweeds spawn in the lanes ahead roughly every second. As you cover more distance, your base speed of 183 increases by nearly 5 units every 100 meters, giving you less time to react. The run ends immediately if you hit any obstacle, displaying your final distance.
Tips
- Stay near the center lane when the road is clear so you can quickly slide to either the left or right side when a new obstacle spawns ahead.
- Tumbleweeds are slightly smaller at 48 pixels wide compared to rocks and cacti at 64 pixels, giving you a tiny bit more room to squeeze past them.
- Passing an obstacle within 30 pixels triggers a near-miss screen shake and a special sound effect, but remember that it does not grant any extra distance or points.
FAQ
- How does the speed change?
- Your car starts at a base speed of 183. For every 100 meters you travel down the road, the speed increases by about 4.8, making it harder to react to the obstacles.
- What happens if I hit an obstacle?
- Hitting a cactus, rock, or tumbleweed instantly ends your run. The game will show a crash screen with your final distance in meters, and you must tap anywhere to retry from zero.
- Can I stop the car from moving?
- No, the car drives forward automatically and you cannot use brakes. You can only control your horizontal position across the three lanes to avoid the incoming hazards as they spawn.
