More about this game
In Gem Collector: Forest Quest, your goal is to gather all 10 blue and violet gems scattered around a forest clearing. You must avoid three slimes that roam the map, as touching them will cost you one of your 3 lives and knock you backward. The slimes have distinct behaviors: one actively chases you at a speed of 105, one patrols in an oval, and one guards a specific area. The run ends when you successfully collect all 10 gems or lose your final life.
Tips
- Watch the slimes' movement patterns closely; the chasing slime moves at a speed of 105, which is much slower than your 430 movement speed, allowing easy escapes.
- You receive exactly 1.55 seconds of invulnerability after taking damage, giving you a brief window to safely run through enemies and grab heavily guarded gems.
- When a slime hits you, you are knocked backward at a speed of 420 for 0.35 seconds, so position yourself carefully to avoid getting trapped against trees.
FAQ
- How many gems do I need to collect?
- You need to collect exactly 10 gems, which appear as floating blue and violet crystals, to complete the quest and win the game. A timer tracks how long your run takes.
- What happens if a slime touches me?
- If a slime touches you, you lose one of your 3 lives, get pushed backward rapidly, and gain 1.55 seconds of invulnerability. If your life counter reaches zero, the run ends.
- Do all the slimes act the same?
- No, the three slimes have completely different behaviors. One actively chases your position, another patrols in a wide oval pattern, and the third guards a specific spot by moving in circles.
