More about this game
In Savanna Dash, you play as an antelope trying to outrun a pursuing lion. The game continuously scrolls forward, and you must switch between three lanes to avoid obstacles. Hitting a hyena slows you down and lets the lion close the gap, while eating grass gives you a speed boost. As you run further, the speed increases and obstacles appear more frequently. The run ends if the lion catches you or if you fall into a crocodile river.
Tips
- Watch the Lion gap meter at the top of the screen; if it empties, the lion catches you.
- Hitting a hyena stuns you for 0.6 seconds and drains a large chunk of your gap meter.
- Eating grass gives you a 3-second speed boost and slightly refills your gap meter.
FAQ
- How do I avoid the rivers?
- When you see the 'JUMP!' warning on the screen, swipe up or press the jump button to leap over the river. If you don't jump in time, you will fall in and the run ends.
- What happens if I hit a hyena?
- Hitting a hyena knocks you into an adjacent lane, stuns you briefly, and significantly reduces the distance between you and the lion. You also get 1 second of invincibility afterward.
- How do I get away from the lion?
- The lion constantly slowly catches up to you. To increase the gap, you need to collect grass, which gives you a speed boost and adds to your gap meter.
