Take control of a cosmic parasite aiming to consume the eight planets of the solar system. Each run begins with an infiltration phase where you must slip through breaches in planetary defenses. Once you breach the core, you must stay within range and hold the absorb action to drain its energy until it collapses. Planets feature unique hazards like freeze beams, orbital lasers, and missiles. A single hit from any defense destroys the parasite, ending the run.
Tips
- Absorbing slows your movement speed by about half, so release the button when you need to dodge quickly.
- Watch the core's beam cycle; it flashes before firing, giving you a brief window to reposition.
- Missiles track your position, so keep moving to lead them away from the core while you drain it.
FAQ
- How do I unlock the next planet?
- You must consume the planets in order. Successfully draining a planet's core to 100% collapse energy unlocks the next one on the route.
- What happens if I get hit?
- The parasite is destroyed instantly upon contact with any planetary defense, gate, or missile. You will have to retry the current planet.
- Why am I moving so slowly?
- Holding the absorb action significantly reduces your movement speed. Additionally, Uranus's freeze beams can inflict a cryo-lock that slows you further.
