Tally is a daily word puzzle where you have six chances to guess a hidden five-letter word. After each guess, the tiles change color to show how close you are: green for the right letter in the right spot, yellow for the right letter in the wrong spot, and grey for letters not in the word. Everyone gets the same word each day. A run ends when you guess the word correctly or use up all six attempts. The game tracks your current streak, max streak, and win percentage.
Tips
- Start with a word that has many vowels and common consonants to eliminate as many letters as possible early on.
- Pay attention to the on-screen keyboard, which updates with the colors of the letters you've guessed, helping you avoid reusing grey letters.

- A new word is available every day at midnight UTC. A countdown timer on the results screen shows exactly when the next puzzle will unlock.
- Can I play past days?
- No, Tally only offers one word per day, and everyone plays the same word. You must wait for the next day to play again.
- What happens if I lose?
- If you don't guess the word in six tries, the game reveals the answer and your current streak resets to zero. Your max streak and win percentage are still saved.
