More about this game
In Starship Wave Vanguard, your goal is to survive and clear three waves of enemy formations. Your ship fires automatically every 0.18 seconds, so you must focus on maneuvering to avoid incoming lasers and align your shots. The difficulty increases as you face tougher enemies, culminating in a boss battle in the third wave. A run ends when your hull reaches zero or you secure the sector by defeating the boss.
Tips
- Focus on dodging first; your ship fires automatically every 0.18 seconds.
- Watch for energy cells dropped by enemies; they restore 1 hull point and give 100 score.
- Keep your combo multiplier up by destroying enemies quickly; it can reach up to 8x.
FAQ
- How do I heal?
- Enemies have a 30% chance to drop an energy cell when destroyed. Collecting it restores 1 hull point.
- How many waves are there?
- There are exactly 3 waves. The first two have standard enemies, and the third features a boss.
- How does scoring work?
- You get points for destroying enemies (180 for scouts, 350 for gunners, 2500 for the boss) multiplied by your combo, plus 100 points for collecting energy cells.
