More about this game
Your goal is to score points by hitting aliens before they disappear back into their twelve holes. The core loop involves reacting quickly to targets that pop up for a base time of 1320 milliseconds. Difficulty increases every 5 points as your level goes up, shrinking the spawn gap by 6% each time until it hits 350 milliseconds. Hitting a blue hostage or letting an alien escape costs one of your three lives. A run ends immediately when you lose your final life.
Tips
- Prioritize the red mega aliens, as they require three consecutive hits to defeat, though their on-screen timer is slightly extended to compensate for the extra hits.
- Watch carefully before tapping, because there is a flat 22 percent chance a blue hostage will spawn instead of a regular alien target.
- Keep track of your score, because purple aliens start appearing at 5 points and red mega aliens unlock once you reach 14 points.
FAQ
- How do I unlock new aliens?
- Purple aliens, which take two hits, start appearing after you score 5 points. Red mega aliens, which take three hits, start appearing after you score 14 points.
- How many lives do I have?
- You start every run with exactly 3 lives. You lose one life if an alien escapes its hole untouched, or if you accidentally hit a blue human hostage.
- How does the game get faster?
- The game levels up every 5 points you score. Each level reduces the initial 920-millisecond spawn gap by 6 percent, eventually reaching a minimum gap of 350 milliseconds.
