Prickle Patch is a logic puzzle where you must place exactly one hedgehog in every row, column, and color patch on the grid. The main rule is that hedgehogs cannot touch each other, not even diagonally. You start each of the 50 levels with three acorns and three hints. If you place a hedgehog incorrectly, the cell flashes red and you lose an acorn. Losing all three acorns ends your run, forcing you to retry the level. The grids get larger and more tricky as you progress.
Tips
- Start by finding small color patches or patches that only span a single row or column, as they severely limit where hedgehogs can safely go.
- When you successfully place a hedgehog, the game automatically marks all touching cells and shared rows with an X to help you narrow down options.
