Your goal is to escape three distinct levels of liminal spaces, starting in yellow wallpapered rooms and ending in a dark maze. You explore to find exit doors, collecting notes and sanity-restoring bottles along the way. Managing your stamina is crucial, as running depletes it quickly. Difficulty increases as monsters begin patrolling and chasing you in later levels. A run ends when you lose all your lives to the entities or successfully unlock the final door.

- How do I run?
- The on-screen joystick has two zones. Dragging it near the center makes you walk, while pulling it further out into the outer ring makes you run, which uses stamina.
- What happens if a monster catches me?
- You will lose one of your five lives and be teleported away from the monster. If you lose all your lives, the run is over.
- What are the bottles for?
- The bottles restore your sanity. As you spend time in the dark or encounter scares, your sanity drops, causing visual distortions that make it hard to see.
