More about this game
In Blade Toss, your goal is to break spinning logs by embedding a specific number of knives into them. The core loop involves carefully timing your throws to hit empty wood while avoiding any already attached blades or obstacles. As you progress, the difficulty increases as logs spin in unpredictable patterns, frequently changing speeds, pausing, or reversing direction. Every fifth stage introduces a unique boss fight, which requires even more precision. A run ends immediately if your thrown knife strikes another blade.
Tips
- Watch the log's rotation pattern carefully before throwing; some logs will suddenly stop, speed up, or reverse direction completely, especially in later stages.
- Aim for apples to collect them. Red apples add 2 to your total and gold apples add 4, which can be spent in the shop to unlock knives for 250 or 500 apples.
- Defeating a boss grants 34 XP, with a 25 percent chance to earn double. Every 100 XP levels you up, unlocking or upgrading the Extra Continue and Second Chance power-ups.
FAQ
- How do I unlock new knives to use?
- You can unlock new knives by spending 250 or 500 collected apples in the shop, defeating bosses to get their specific themed knives, or completing all 10 challenges in one of the six challenge worlds.
- What happens if I hit another knife by mistake?
- Hitting another knife or obstacle bounces your blade off and ends your run. However, if you have unlocked the Second Chance or Extra Continue power-ups, they have a percentage chance to trigger and let you continue.
- How do the challenge worlds work in this game?
- There are six challenge worlds, such as Kingdoms and Monsters, each with up to 10 challenges. A challenge consists of several small stages followed by a world boss, and completing them unlocks exclusive challenge knives.
