How to play
- Tap a front-row nest to move it to an empty jar slot.
- Watch the ants march out to eat matching blocks on the picture's edge.
- Wait for the ants to carry the blocks back to the hole.
- Clear the entire pixel picture to win 40 coins for your efforts.
- Use boosters if you get stuck or need to clear a specific color.

In Munch the Mosaic, your goal is to clear pixel art pictures by sending ants to eat them. Tap a nest in the front row to move it to a jar slot. Ants will automatically march out to eat matching blocks on the outer edge of the picture. You start with five jar slots. As you progress through 20 levels, the mosaics become more complex. If all slots are full and no ants can reach their color, the run ends. Earn 40 coins per level to buy helpful boosters.
Tips
- Always check which colors are exposed on the outer edge of the picture before tapping a nest, as ants can only eat blocks they can reach.
- Keep a close eye on your 5 jar slots; if they fill up with blocked colors and no ants can march, you will lose the level.
- Linked nests move together to the jars, so make sure you have enough free slots for both before tapping, or you will get an error.
FAQ
- What happens if I tap a nest in the back row?
- You cannot tap nests in the back rows unless you use the Pluck booster, which costs 150 coins. Normally, you must clear the front row first.
- How do I unlock and buy new boosters?
- The Extra Slot unlocks at Level 6, Pluck at Level 12, and the Saucer at Level 17. You can buy them using the coins earned from clearing levels.
- What does the mystery nest do?
- The mystery nest hides its true color until it reaches the front row. You will need to plan carefully to ensure you have a slot ready for whatever color it reveals.
