More about this game
In Dead District, your goal is to survive endless waves of zombies until the 24-minute extraction timer hits zero. You start with a basic weapon that fires automatically. As you clear waves, you earn XP to level up and choose field upgrades. Supply crates drop new weapons, and you can weld two different weapons together in the Foundry to create a rarer, stronger version. The horde grows larger and faster with each wave. A run ends when your health reaches zero or you survive the full 24 minutes.
Tips
- Every wave cleared heals 12% of your maximum health, so push to finish waves quickly.
- Welding a firearm with another weapon gives the firearm the other weapon's trait, like Burn or Shock.
- Keep moving to avoid getting surrounded, and watch out for faster zombie types that spawn in later waves.
FAQ
- How do I get new weapons?
- New weapons drop from supply crates. You get a guaranteed crate after clearing wave 1, and then every 3 waves. Enemies also have a small chance to drop crates.
- How does the Foundry work?
- You can weld two different weapons together. The result keeps the firing pattern of the firearm (if one is used) and gains the trait of the other weapon. The new weapon is always one tier rarer.
- How do I heal?
- You heal 12% of your maximum health every time you clear a wave. You can also pick the Field Medic upgrade to restore 35 health, or recycle supply crates for 25% health.
