More about this game
Your goal is to survive as long as possible by running down a dark hallway. The core loop requires typing the displayed words correctly to sprint forward and increase your distance. As you complete words, the required word length increases, making it harder to maintain your speed. Mistakes or hesitation allow the pursuer to close the distance. A run ends when the pursuer's proximity reaches maximum and you are caught.
Tips
- Focus on accuracy over raw speed, as mistakes increase the pursuer's proximity by 13% and slow you down.
- Do not pause for more than 1.15 seconds, or the pursuer will start closing in faster.
- Use the on-screen CLR key or Backspace to quickly fix mistakes if you mistype a letter.
FAQ
- How do I run faster?
- You run faster by typing the correct letters. Each correct letter increases your speed slightly, and completing a full word gives a larger speed boost and distance jump.
- What happens if I type the wrong letter?
- Typing the wrong letter reduces your speed, increases the pursuer's proximity, and flashes the screen red. You must use Backspace or the DEL key to fix it.
- Does the game get harder?
- Yes, as you complete more words, the game selects longer words from the word bank, up to 11 letters long, requiring more sustained typing.
