More about this game
World cup is an auto-runner where you guide an athlete across a series of ten floating circular platforms. Your character runs forward automatically at a steady speed of 390, leaving you to focus entirely on timing your jumps. The goal is to cross the gaps between platforms representing different countries, from China to Qatar, to claim the championship trophy. The run ends immediately if you miss a landing and fall into the canyon, or if you fail to escape a sticky platform before its timer expires.
Tips
- You have exactly 2.25 seconds to break free from a sticky platform. Keep an eye on the countdown bar to avoid being dragged down.
- The game features a 0.13-second grace period after running off a ledge, allowing you to jump even if you step slightly past the edge.
- Inputting a jump up to 0.16 seconds before you land will queue the action, ensuring you leap immediately upon touching the next platform.
FAQ
- What happens if I stay on a sticky platform too long?
- If you do not tap to break free within the 2.25-second limit, your character is pulled downward and falls into the canyon, ending your current run immediately.
- How is my score calculated during a run?
- The game tracks two scores: the number of flags you successfully reach out of the total nine gaps, and the total distance you travel in meters before falling.
- Are the platform distances always the same?
- Yes, the ten platforms appear in a fixed order with specific gap sizes. For example, the gap after Brazil is 132, while the gap after Morocco is 168.
