In Vanguard Strike, your goal is to survive waves of hostile soldiers, drones, and turrets while advancing to defeat the massive boss at the end of each stage. You start with three lives and five health points. A run ends when you lose all your lives or successfully destroy the final boss.
Tips
- Prioritize destroying stationary turrets and flying drones first, as their projectiles can quickly drain your five health points if left unchecked.
- Grab the yellow spread shot and orange rapid fire power-ups before boss fights to maximize your damage output against their massive health pools.
- In Survival mode, a boss spawns every 5 waves. Save your shield power-ups for these encounters to survive their heavy damage attacks.

- What happens when I lose a life?
- If your five health points run out, you lose one of your three starting lives and respawn at the last green checkpoint flag you activated. If you lose all lives, it is game over.
- Are there different game modes?
- Yes. Besides the 5-level Campaign, you can play Survival for endless waves, Boss Rush to fight all 5 bosses back-to-back, Time Attack, Arcade with one life, or Daily Challenge with random modifiers.
- How do I unlock New Game+?
- You must complete all 5 levels of the Campaign mode to unlock New Game+. In this mode, enemies have higher health and damage, but you start with the spread weapon permanently unlocked.
