More about this game
Your goal is to survive a 45-space pixel board and defeat the Dice-Face Overlord. The core loop involves rolling a movement die to land on events, shops, chests, traps, or battles. In combat, you roll six dice, and their faces automatically combine to attack, defend, or heal based on your rolled symbols. You can upgrade your die weights to favor certain faces. Enemies grow stronger and deal more damage as you progress deeper into the map. A run ends in victory if you beat the final boss, or fails if your HP drops to zero.
Tips
- Save your rerolls for turns when the enemy is preparing a heavy attack or banning a face you need to survive.
- Matching three of the same face triggers powerful skills, like Iron Wall for 10 shield or Great Mend for 9 heal, plus any reward power bonuses.
- Traps will send you back 3 spaces or all the way to the start, so keep your HP high in case you are forced into extra battles.
FAQ
- What do the different dice faces do?
- Swords, fire, and lightning deal damage to enemies. Shields provide block to absorb incoming attacks, hearts heal your HP, and stars can grant energy for special attacks or give you extra rerolls.
- How do I get more relics?
- You can find relics in chests on the map, by defeating elite enemies, or by trading your HP at risky shrine events. Relics provide passive bonuses like extra gold or starting shields.
- What happens if an enemy bans a die face?
- If an enemy uses a seal intent on a specific face, any of your dice landing on that symbol will deal backlash damage to you instead of triggering their normal skills.
