More about this game
In Orbit Snap, you control a ball orbiting a central hub while a target ring circles further out. Your goal is to build a streak by launching the ball so it perfectly intersects the target. With each successful hit, the game becomes harder: the ball's orbit speed increases up to a maximum of 3.8, and the target ring shrinks from a starting size of 88 down to 48. A run ends immediately if you miss the target and the ball flies off the screen.
Tips
- The ball launches at a speed of 1420, so you must lead the moving target slightly to ensure a perfect hit.
- Focus on the angle of your orbit; the ball travels in a straight line from the exact tangent of its release point.
- Prepare for faster rotations after a score of 10, as the orbit speed ramp increases from 0.035 to 0.055 per point.
FAQ
- How do I score points?
- You score one point each time your launched ball successfully intersects the outer target ring. The game tracks your consecutive hits to build your streak, and your highest streak is saved as your best score.
- Why did the game end?
- The run ends instantly if your ball misses the target ring and travels off the screen boundaries. You must hit the target every single time to keep your streak alive.
- Does the game get harder?
- Yes, the difficulty scales as your score increases. The ball's orbit speed gradually ramps up to a maximum of 3.8, and the target ring shrinks to a minimum size of 48.
