More about this game
In Rainbow Rhythm Dance, your goal is to match falling arrows as they reach the glow zone at the bottom of the four lanes. The core loop involves tapping or swiping the correct direction to keep your combo alive and earn points. As the song progresses, the notes fall up to thirty-eight percent faster and spawn more frequently. The run ends when the song finishes, displaying your final score, max combo, and overall accuracy percentage.
Tips
- Aim for the exact center of the glow zone to get a PERFECT rating within a 70-millisecond window, earning you 1000 base points.
- Maintain your combo multiplier; every 8 consecutive hits triggers a special combo pulse that awards an instant 750 extra points.
- Watch out for the difficulty ramp near the end of the song, as notes will speed up by thirty-eight percent and spawn closer together.
FAQ
- How do I get a PERFECT rating?
- You need to hit the note within a strict 70-millisecond window of it reaching the exact center of the glow zone. Hitting it slightly early or late results in a GOOD or OK rating instead.
- What happens if I miss a note?
- Missing a note entirely or tapping the wrong direction resets your combo counter to zero, flashes the screen red, and causes your dancer to briefly stop dancing and show a miss animation.
- How does the combo system affect my score?
- Building a combo adds up to 840 bonus points per hit. Once your combo reaches ten, your character will start cycling through advanced dance moves, and you earn 750 bonus points every eight hits.
