More about this game
In Penguin Dash, you guide a penguin down a deep, icy shaft to recover a lost egg. The core loop involves dropping from platform to platform, using your golden beak to break through ice bricks and bonk patrolling seals. You must manage your fall distance; dropping too far without landing safely will end the run. The game ends when you successfully reach the egg at the bottom or if you hit a seal or fall too fast.
Tips
- Use your beak attack before landing to clear bricks that might block your safe descent.
- Watch out for the fall limit; dropping more than 780 units without landing will cause a crash.
- You can bonk seals with your beak, but touching them otherwise will end your run instantly.
FAQ
- How do I break the ice bricks?
- Press the BEAK button (or Z/X/Enter on keyboard) when you are near an ice brick to smash it and continue your descent.
- Why did my game end when I landed?
- You fell too far at once. The penguin cannot survive a drop greater than the fall limit (default 780 units) without landing on a platform first.
- Can I defeat the seals?
- Yes, you can use your beak attack to bonk the seals and remove them from your path.
