More about this game
Your goal is to protect the Castle Heart from endless waves of flying and ground monsters. The core loop involves placing five types of defenses—Walls, Archers, Cannons, Traps, and Magic—and spending gold earned from kills to upgrade their damage, range, and fire rate. Difficulty scales up as waves grow larger, wave modifiers like fog or resource shortages appear, and massive bosses spawn every five waves. A run ends when enemies break through your lines and reduce the Castle Heart's 580 health points to zero.
Tips
- Place Walls directly on the paths to block ground enemies like Grunts and Tanks, grouping them up so your Cannons can maximize their area blast damage.
- Bosses appear every 5 waves and will stop to smash Walls and Traps. Build Magic towers nearby, as they deal the highest single-target damage to quickly melt their massive health pools.
- Don't forget to repair damaged towers between waves. The Field Medics perk increases repair power by 35%, making it much cheaper to maintain your frontline defenses.
FAQ
- How do I heal my Castle Heart?
- Tap the Castle Heart to spend gold on repairs. Alternatively, you can select the Heart Bloom perk between waves, which instantly restores 90 HP and increases your maximum health by 90.
- What do the wave modifiers do?
- Modifiers change the rules for a single wave. For example, Night Battle reduces tower range by 15%, Enemy Rage boosts enemy speed by 20%, and Resource Fog delays your kill gold until the wave ends.
- How do I get more gold?
- You earn gold for every enemy defeated, ranging from 10 gold for a basic Grunt to 210 gold for a Major Boss. You can also pick the Gold Tithe perk for a flat +4 bonus per kill.
