More about this game
In Mouse to the Rescue, you control a working medical alert dog tasked with saving her owner, Harvey. Monitor his sugar meter, confirm his alert, and quickly fetch fast carbs from the store shelves. The core loop involves navigating around obstacles like shopping carts and judgmental shoppers while managing a strict 42-second faint risk timer. Difficulty increases as the faint risk meter fills, narrowing your vision into a dark tunnel. A run ends when you successfully return the juice to Harvey or if the faint risk meter reaches 100%.
Tips
- Keep a close eye on the sugar meter; it drops from 100 to 27 in just seven seconds, requiring your immediate attention to trigger the nudge.
- Avoid bumping into carts and shoppers, as collisions will temporarily drop your movement speed to 48 percent of normal, wasting precious time.
- Plan your route back to Harvey carefully. As the faint risk meter increases over 42 seconds, your vision narrows, making obstacles much harder to see.
FAQ
- What happens if I bump into a shopper or a cart?
- Bumping into a shopper or a cart triggers a collision penalty. Your movement speed drops to 48 percent of normal for half a second, making it much harder to reach the orange juice in time.
- How long do I have to fetch the orange juice?
- Once you confirm the alert by pressing Nudge, you have exactly 42 seconds to fetch the orange juice and return to Harvey before his faint risk meter hits 100 percent.
- Why does the screen get dark while I am fetching the juice?
- As the 42-second faint risk meter fills up, the screen darkens around Mouse to simulate Harvey's tunnel vision. This visual effect makes it harder to spot and avoid the shoppers.
