The Courtyard Remembers is a quiet exploration game where you uncover the stories of six friends in Roseville. By selecting pulsing hotspots in the courtyard, you open personal memories that contrast their past struggles with their present lives in 2026. You must read both the Past and 2026 tabs to seal each memory. Once all six memories are sealed, you unlock the reunion finale and the full soundtrack archive. You can reset your walk at any time to experience the stories again.
Tips
- You cannot seal a memory until you have viewed both the Past and 2026 tabs. The button will say "Past + 2026" until both are read.
- Check the Memory Log in the top left corner to see exactly how many of the 6 memories you have successfully found and sealed.
- Found hotspots change their appearance in the courtyard. They turn into a green circle marked with the word "FOUND" beneath the character's name.

- How do I seal a memory?
- Open a memory from the courtyard map, then select both the Past and 2026 tabs. Once both eras are viewed, the Seal Memory button at the bottom becomes active and archives the story.
- What happens when I find all six memories?
- Finding all six memories unlocks the 2026 reunion finale screen. This also changes the Archive button to give you full access to the game's soundtrack and musical motifs.
- How do I restart the game?
- Open the Memory Archive and select the New Walk button at the bottom. Confirming this choice clears the six archived memories on your device so you can discover every story again.
