More about this game
In Sand Blast, your goal is to survive as long as possible by dropping blocks that turn into sand. Connect the same color from wall to wall, or fill a dashed box to clear the sand. As you play, the falling speed increases every 10 clears, making it harder to plan. Chain clears together to build combos and earn higher scores. The game ends when the sand piles up past the top of the screen.
Tips
- Focus on filling the dashed cluster boxes, as each completed cluster awards 100 points. Clusters require 4 blocks of space and must reach a 72 percent fill threshold to clear.
- Try to chain clears within the short combo window to increase your multiplier by 1.5x for each consecutive clear. This is the best way to rapidly boost your score.
- When the special void block appears, carefully plan where to drop it. It will absorb all sand of the color it touches, which can save you when the board is nearly full.
FAQ
- How do I clear sand in the game?
- You can clear sand in two ways: by connecting a single color continuously from the left wall to the right wall, or by filling one of the dashed cluster boxes with a single color until it reaches the required threshold.
- What does the black hole block do?
- The black hole, also known as the void block, is a special piece that absorbs all sand particles of the color it lands on. It is extremely useful for clearing out large amounts of a single color at once.
- How does the game's difficulty change over time?
- The game becomes more challenging as you progress. The falling speed of the blocks increases by a set amount every time you successfully complete 10 clears, requiring faster reflexes and quicker decision-making.
