More about this game
Your goal is to run a profitable coffee shop by serving daily customers. You create custom drink recipes in the lab, setting the grind, temperature, and yield. During a shift, you accept orders, hold to grind beans to the target weight, time the extraction, and calculate exact change. As you progress, managing ingredient costs and customer patience becomes vital. A shift ends after you resolve five customer orders, deducting daily overhead costs from your revenue.
Tips
- Watch the brew meter closely during extraction. Stopping exactly in the green target zone minimizes your quality penalty and maximizes the customer's payment.
- Keep an eye on the customer's patience bar. If it empties completely, they will leave without paying and your overall cafe rating will decrease.
- Check your ingredient costs in the business tab regularly. You must price your recipes high enough to cover the daily overhead fee charged after every five customers.
FAQ
- How do I make a good coffee recipe?
- In the lab, match your grind size, temperature, and brew time to the chosen method. For example, espresso needs a fine grind and short time, while cold brew requires a long extraction time.
- Why did the customer pay less than the menu price?
- Customers pay full price only if the drink quality meets your target rating. If you miss the grind dose, extraction time, or forget toppings, they will pay a reduced amount.
- How does the daily shift system work?
- Each shift consists of five customer orders. Once you serve or lose all five customers, the day ends, daily overhead costs are deducted, and you receive a shift profit summary.
