More about this game
Your goal is to reach the summit by climbing exactly forty steps in the shortest time possible. The core loop involves looking at the highlighted next step and pressing the matching left or right arrow to jump. The challenge comes from maintaining your speed without pressing the wrong direction, which triggers a screen shake, resets your streak, and adds a time penalty to your run. A run ends when you successfully land on the fortieth step beside the flag and see your final time.
Tips
- Focus on accuracy over raw speed. Pressing the wrong direction shakes the screen, resets your streak, and adds a time penalty to your total score.
- Look one or two steps ahead to anticipate your next moves. The steps cycle through yellow, blue, and red colors, which can help you visually group them.
- Use the stars that appear every five steps as milestones to track your progress toward the summit's flag at step forty, aiming to collect all eight stars.
FAQ
- What happens if I press the wrong arrow?
- Your character will stay in place, the screen will shake, your streak will reset to zero, and a time penalty will be added to your total elapsed time.
- How do I get a better score?
- Your score is based entirely on how fast you reach the top. Avoid mistakes and maintain a fast, steady rhythm to lower your time and beat your personal best.
- Does the game save my progress if I quit?
- The game automatically saves your best completion time and the highest step you have reached. When you return, you will see your personal records displayed on the main menu.
