How to play
- Tap an exposed bobbin on the grid to move it down to your conveyor belt.
- Match the bobbin's thread color to the active requirements shown on the loom above.
- Wait for matching bobbins to wind their thread and clear out from your limited slots.
- Earn 10 coins for every completed spool and use them to buy helpful boosters.
- Clear the entire grid of bobbins to finish the pattern and win the level.

In Spool Unravel, your goal is to clear the grid of bobbins by matching their thread colors to the loom. You can only tap bobbins that have an empty space next to them. Tapped bobbins move to your conveyor belt, which has limited slots. If a bobbin matches an active color on the loom, it winds thread until it is full and disappears. The level ends when all loom patterns are complete, or you fail if your conveyor fills up with no available matches.
Tips
- Always check the active colors on the loom before picking a bobbin. Filling your conveyor slots with the wrong colors will quickly cause an unrecoverable jam.
- A spool takes exactly 3 units of thread to complete. Try to pick enough bobbins of the same color to finish a spool and free up the slot.
- If you are stuck, spend your coins to buy an extra slot for 50 coins, shuffle the grid for 30 coins, or use auto-pick for 20 coins.
FAQ
- Why can't I tap a bobbin?
- You can only tap bobbins that are exposed on the grid. This means they must have at least one empty space directly next to them horizontally or vertically to be selected.
- How do I lose the game?
- You lose the level if your conveyor belt fills up entirely and no bobbins can match with the loom to free up a slot, causing a jam timer to run out.
- What do the boosters do?
- The Extra Slot gives you one more space on the conveyor, Shuffle rearranges the grid colors safely, and Auto-pick automatically selects the best available bobbin to keep your progress moving.
