More about this game
In What's a Hairline?, your goal is to save Pete's hairline by catching falling hair strands. You must collect 28 strands before the 42-second timer runs out. Catching conditioner gives you 50 points and a temporary magnet effect to pull in nearby strands. Watch out for the clippers! Hitting a clipper costs you one of your 3 lives, breaks your combo, and deducts points and caught strands. The falling speed increases slightly as the round goes on. The run ends when you reach the goal, run out of time, or lose all 3 lives.
Tips
- Build a combo by catching strands consecutively. Every 5 strands triggers a streak bonus, and higher combos increase the points you get per strand up to 50 points.
- When you catch conditioner, the magnet effect lasts for 5.5 seconds and pulls strands within a 230-pixel radius, so stay central to maximize its pull.
- Avoid clippers at all costs. Hitting one deducts 25 points, breaks your combo, removes 2 caught strands from your total, and takes away one of your 3 lives.
FAQ
- How do I win the round?
- You win by catching 28 hair strands before the 42-second timer reaches zero. If time runs out before you reach the goal, or if you lose all 3 lives to the clippers, the round ends in a loss.
- What does the conditioner do?
- Catching a conditioner bottle grants 50 points and activates a magnet effect for 5.5 seconds. This magnet automatically pulls nearby falling strands toward Pete, making it easier to build your combo.
- What happens if I hit the clippers?
- Hitting the clippers costs you 1 life, deducts 25 points, removes 2 caught strands from your total, and resets your combo to zero. If you lose all 3 lives, the game is over.
