More about this game
Neon Squadron is a top-down space shooter where you steer a fighter ship through three distinct sectors. Your ship fires automatically while you dodge incoming projectiles and destroy enemy drones. Every fourth drone destroyed releases a power-up, granting temporary rapid fire, spread shots, or a one-hit shield. Surviving the drone waves summons a sector boss with a massive health pool and spread-fire attacks. Defeating the third boss, Nova Prime, completes the mission.
Tips
- Every fourth enemy you destroy drops a power-up, so prioritize taking down drones quickly to keep your ship's weapons fully upgraded throughout the wave.
- The Spread (S) upgrade lasts 12 seconds and the Rapid (R) upgrade lasts 10 seconds, but catching a Shield (+) lasts until you take a hit.
- Defeating a sector boss restores one point of hull health, up to your maximum of three, giving you a slight buffer for the next level.
FAQ
- How many levels are there?
- There are three sectors to clear. Each sector ends with a boss fight, culminating in the final boss, Nova Prime, at the end of sector three.
- What do the different drops do?
- The 'S' drop gives you a spread shot for 12 seconds, 'R' increases your fire rate for 10 seconds, and '+' provides a shield that absorbs one hit.
- How do I heal my ship?
- Your ship starts with three hull points. You recover one hull point each time you successfully defeat a sector boss, up to your maximum of three.
