More about this game
In this memory game, your goal is to clear a board of twelve face-down cards by finding all six matching mushroom pairs. You flip two cards at a time, trying to remember their locations. If they match, they stay face-up and you earn points. If they differ, they flip back over after a brief delay. The round ends in a win if you find all pairs before the 90-second clock expires, or a loss if time runs out.
Tips
- Consecutive matches build a combo multiplier, adding 50 bonus points for each extra pair you find in a row without making a mistake.
- Finish the board as fast as possible, because you earn 5 bonus points for every single second left on the 90-second clock.
- When you flip two mismatched cards, they stay visible for about 0.8 seconds. Use this time to memorize their positions.
FAQ
- How many cards are on the board?
- There are exactly 12 cards on the board in every round. These make up 6 unique pairs of mushrooms, such as the red spotted mushroom and the golden mushroom, that you need to match.
- What happens if time runs out?
- You start each round with 90 seconds. If the timer reaches zero before you find all six pairs, the game ends and you will have to try again.
- How does the scoring system work?
- You get 100 points for a basic match. Combos add 50 extra points, and finishing early grants 5 bonus points for every remaining second on the clock.
