How to play
- Select your fighter from the roster and choose your starting stage on the carnival ladder.
- Move left and right to approach your opponent, or hold away from them to block.
- Tap the light, heavy, and kick attack buttons to damage your opponent and build your mayhem meter.
- When your mayhem meter reaches 100%, press the special button to unleash a devastating attack.
- Win two out of three rounds to clear the stage and advance to the next fight.

Your goal is to survive an eight-stage carnival ladder by defeating a series of opponents. In each best-of-three match, you use light, heavy, and kick attacks to deal damage and build your mayhem meter for special moves. As you progress through the stages, you face different fighters, culminating in a final boss fight against the Carnival Freak. You can also adjust the difficulty and health bars before starting. A run ends when you clear all eight stages to win, or if you lose a match.
Tips
- Pay attention to your character's reach and speed stats. For example, The Doll Clown is extremely fast but has a short reach, while The Ringmaster can dominate from a distance.
- If you play as the Killer Clown or The Jester, string together specific inputs within a 0.62-second window to trigger powerful combo animations.
- When your mayhem meter reaches 100%, combine the special button with a forward direction or the down input to unleash three different signature moves for your character.

- You can block incoming attacks by holding the joystick or movement key away from your opponent while standing still on the ground. Blocking reduces the damage you take to 22% (or 7% if you play as The Mime) and prevents knockdowns.
- Which characters have combo attacks?
- Only the Killer Clown and The Jester have specific combo sequences. For these two, you can tap attack buttons in specific orders within a 0.62-second window to trigger powerful moves.
- Can I change the difficulty?
