More about this game
A Place 2 is an atmospheric exploration game with no destination. You wander through endless, procedurally generated hills dotted with houses, trees, and butterflies. As you walk, the weather shifts between clear skies, sunshowers, and rain. Every 14 seconds, your character automatically blinks, and the entire landscape rearranges itself around you. There is no way to lose or end a run; you simply explore, listen to the ambient sounds, and see how far you can wander.
Tips
- Pay attention to the weather label in the top right corner to see when it changes between clearing, sunshower, and rain.
- Use the reset button to return to your starting position and reset your distance wandered to 0.
- Do not try to memorize the landscape, as it will completely rearrange itself every 14 seconds when you blink.
FAQ
- Is there an end to the game?
- No, there is no destination or end. The landscape generates endlessly as you walk, and your only goal is to explore and see how far you can wander.
- Why does the world keep changing?
- Your character automatically blinks every 14 seconds. During this blink, the procedural generation shifts, causing the hills, trees, and houses to rearrange themselves.
- What do the different weather states do?
- The weather changes every 32 seconds between clearing, sunshower, and rain. This alters the lighting, fog, and visual effects like raindrops on the screen.
