In Battle of the Beasts, you control Zyra, an Ember Wyrm fighting through waves of shadow enemies across different modes like Levels, Brawl, and Challenge. Your goal is to clear the required enemy quota, defeat the Shadow Colossus boss, and enter the portal to the next level. Between levels, you can spend Spirit Shards on temporary boons like extra health, damage, or spectral plates. A run ends when your health reaches zero, but you keep your Spirit Shards to unlock permanent upgrades.
Tips
- Dashing grants a brief moment of invulnerability, which is perfect for dodging falling Blood Meteors or the Shadow Colossus's volley attacks.
- Your ultimate takes 12 seconds to charge. Save it for when you are overwhelmed by enemies or to deal massive damage to the boss.
- Dread Knights have a frontal shield that reduces incoming damage by 70%. Use your dash to get behind them and attack their vulnerable back.
