You explore nine distinct ocean zones as a customizable merfolk, fighting to restore lost reefs. In each area, you must defeat three charging guardians using your auto-aiming bubble attacks. Once the guardians fall, touching the shrine restores the zone. Along the way, you can collect pearls from treasures and rescue trapped sea friends. Taking damage reduces your 100 health points, and losing it all sends you back to the start of your current zone.
Tips
- Dashing grants 0.6 seconds of invulnerability, making it the perfect way to pass safely through a guardian's charge attack without taking any damage.
- Defeating a guardian restores 6 health points, which helps you stay alive and recover if you take damage while clearing a difficult zone.
- Your special surge attack varies by your chosen form; for example, forms three and four freeze enemies for four seconds when used.
