More about this game
Starfall Arcade challenges you to collect falling stars by tapping them before they drop past the bottom line. You start with three lives, losing one each time a regular star escapes. The core loop requires balancing speed and precision, as tapping a black bomb star immediately ends your run. Difficulty scales up continuously: the base fall speed of 315 increases every five seconds, and the spawn rate gets faster. The game ends when you run out of lives or hit a bomb, recording your total score and survival time.
Tips
- Aim carefully because the clickable hitbox is only 62 percent of the star's visual size, requiring precise taps to collect them successfully.
- Watch out for the black bomb stars, which start with an 18 percent spawn chance that gradually increases as your run continues.
- Prioritize stars lower on the screen, keeping in mind that they drift side to side and spin as they fall downward.
FAQ
- What happens if I miss a star?
- If a regular colored star falls completely off the bottom of the screen, you lose one of your three starting lives. The game ends when you lose all three lives.
- What do the black stars do?
- The black stars act as bombs. If you accidentally tap one, your run ends immediately, regardless of how many lives you have left. They also have a slightly smaller base size of 92.
- How does the scoring system work?
- Different colored stars award different points. Red stars give 1 point, while rarer colors like blue and violet award 7 and 10 points respectively. Better colors unlock as the speed multiplier increases.
