More about this game
Stick It! is a precision timing game where you compete in a three-vault gymnastics event. For each vault, you must carefully time three distinct actions: the spring, the tuck, and the landing. A white marker moves across a timing gauge, and you must tap exactly when it hits the gold zone. Your accuracy determines your score out of 10.0 for each phase. The game ends after three complete vaults, and your final score is the average of all three attempts, determining your medal placement.
Tips
- Aim for the exact center of the gold zone; a perfect tap scores a 10.0, while catching the edge gives a lower score.
- The timing gauge moves at different speeds for each phase, taking 2.2 seconds for the spring, 1.5 for the tuck, and 1.6 for the landing.
- Pay attention to the text feedback; if you tap too early or too late, the game tells you so you can adjust your timing on the next vault.
FAQ
- How is the final score calculated?
- Each vault is scored out of 10.0 based on how close your three taps are to the center of the gold zone. Your final score is the exact average of your three vaults.
- What happens if I miss the gold zone?
- If you miss the gold zone, your score for that specific phase drops significantly. An average score below 6.0 results in a wobbly landing animation and a Practice rating instead of a medal.
- How do I get a gold medal?
- You need an average score of 9.0 or higher across all three vaults to earn a gold medal. A score of 7.5 earns silver, and a 6.0 earns a bronze medal.
