Your goal is to restore color to a dying forest by finding three living embers. You explore three chapters, using your bloom spell to cleanse thorn guardians. As you progress, the guardians gain more health and their thorn attacks strike faster. You must dodge their shrinking warning rings while staying close enough to cast your spell. The journey ends when you cleanse the final guardians in the Dawn Sanctuary and place the three embers in the soil.
Tips
- Watch the pink warning rings around the guardians. In the first chapter, you have 3.2 seconds to step out before the thorns strike.
- Defeating a guardian restores one heart of health. Focus on finishing off weakened enemies if your health drops below your maximum of five hearts.
- Your bloom spell damages all enemies within its radius. Try to position yourself between multiple guardians to hit them all with a single cast.

- How many chapters are in the game?
- There are three chapters to complete: Sunpetal Glade, Violet Marsh, and Dawn Sanctuary. Each new area features more thorn guardians that attack faster than the last.
- What happens if I lose all my health?
- If your health drops to zero from enemy attacks, the forest shelters you. You will respawn at the start of the current chapter with three hearts.
- Why can't I interact with the golden shrine?
- The shrine only activates once the living ember is awake. You must cleanse every thorn guardian in the current area before the shrine will let you progress.
