More about this game
Your goal is to slice as many fruits as possible to rack up a massive high score. Apples and oranges are launched from the bottom of the screen, and you must slice them before they fall back down. The game gets progressively harder as the launch speed increases and the spawn delay drops from 0.8 seconds down to 0.3 seconds. If you accidentally slice a bomb, the screen flashes, the round ends immediately, and you must restart.
Tips
- Apples are worth 10 points and oranges are worth 15 points, so prioritize slicing the oranges if you have to choose between them.
- Slice fruits within 0.3 seconds of each other to build a combo, which applies a 1.5x multiplier to your score for each consecutive slice.
- Watch out for bombs, which have a 15 percent chance of spawning instead of fruit and will instantly end your game if touched.
FAQ
- How do I get a combo multiplier?
- You get a combo by slicing another fruit within 0.3 seconds of your last slice. This applies a 1.5x multiplier to your score for each consecutive slice, making your screen shake and displaying a combo notice.
- What happens if I miss a fruit?
- Nothing negative happens if you miss a fruit. It will just fall off the bottom of the screen once gravity takes over, but you will miss out on the 10 or 15 points it would have provided.
- How does the game's difficulty increase over time?
- As you survive longer, the game steadily decreases the spawn delay from 0.8 seconds down to a minimum of 0.3 seconds, and it also increases the upward launch speed of the objects.
