- Upgrading your fishing rod reduces the time it takes to catch a meal by 5 seconds per level, down to a minimum catch time of 60 seconds.
- Hiring fisher cats also reduces the time between catches by 5 seconds each. You can hire up to four helpers to maximize your fishing speed.

- Once you successfully serve 50 meals, the rebirth option unlocks. Using it resets your coins, upgrades, and staff, but gives you a permanent +0.5x earnings multiplier for all future runs.
