More about this game
In Metal Slug: Vertical Vengeance, your goal is to climb through dangerous industrial and volcanic sectors, securing fuel and gears while eliminating threats. The core loop involves alternating between a nimble soldier and a heavily armed tank to navigate platforms, destroy obstacles, and defeat enemies. Difficulty increases as you encounter tougher hazards like rotating blades, hydraulic presses, and rising lava, culminating in intense boss fights. A run ends when your soldier loses all armor or you fall off the screen.
Tips
- Use the soldier's auto-knife attack for quick, close-range takedowns without using ammo.
- Your tank can take 6 hits by default, but you can upgrade its armor in the Hangar Shop.
- Watch out for the laser warnings; they give you 1.5 seconds to move before firing.
FAQ
- How do I heal my tank?
- You can use the Quick Repair option in the pause menu if you have 2 banked gears, restoring 30% of your tank's armor once per stage.
- What happens when my tank is destroyed?
- You are forced to eject as the soldier. You must survive on foot with your rifle and grenades until the end of the stage.
- How do I unlock Endless Siege mode?
- You must clear Stage 1 (Jungle Ascent) in the campaign to unlock the Endless Siege survival mode.
