More about this game
Moonlit Knight is an auto-runner where you guide a knight through a dark forest. Your goal is to survive as long as possible while racking up points. The knight runs automatically, starting at a speed of 420 and accelerating up to a maximum of 820. You must jump over brambles and slash slimes to stay alive. Slashing slimes builds a combo multiplier, but taking damage or letting a slime pass you resets it. You have three hearts, and the run ends when you lose them all.
Tips
- You can buffer your jumps. If you tap up to 0.14 seconds before landing, the knight will automatically jump again the exact moment his feet touch the ground.
- Do not let slimes pass you. If a slime goes off the left side of the screen, your combo resets to zero just like taking damage.
- Time your slashes carefully instead of spamming. There is a 0.18-second cooldown between swings, and hitting two slimes in one swing triggers a double slash bonus.
FAQ
- How does the combo scoring system work?
- Every slime you slash adds to your combo. Your base reward is 10 points, and the multiplier increases by one for every 5 combo points you chain together without getting hit or missing a slime.
- What happens when I hit a bramble or slime?
- You lose one of your three hearts, your combo resets to zero, and the knight flashes with 1.3 seconds of invincibility. The game ends when you run out of hearts.
- How do I earn points from running?
- Aside from slashing slimes and grabbing 5-point moon shards, you earn 1 point for every 120 units of distance you cover. The faster you run, the quicker these passive points accumulate.
