More about this game
Your goal is to clear fields of hay to find hidden needles and earn coins for your workshop. You rake bales by tapping them, reducing their durability until they break. Coins let you buy upgrades like a stronger rake, a blower for automatic hits, or a magnet to hint at the needle's location. The hay gets tougher as you progress, and every 10 levels you face a boss with special rules like regrowing hay. A run ends if you choose to erase your progress and start a new game.
Tips
- Upgrade your magnet to level 4 to reduce the scanner cooldown to 2 seconds and pinpoint the exact bale instead of a general area.
- Choose your crew carefully; Rowan gives +1 manual tap power but reduces needle coin rewards by 20 percent, while Ada boosts automatic blower speed by 50 percent.
- Boss fields appear every 10 levels and require you to clear 12 bales before extracting the needle to earn a rare Curio reward.
FAQ
- How do the workshop engines work?
- You can install engines on the left or right docks to automate hits. Each engine only reaches its marked 3-column area, and you can upgrade their power using coins.
- What do the different route choices mean?
- Routes change the field rules. For example, Coin Meadow has 20 percent softer hay but no needle, while Needle Cache has 35 percent tougher hay but pays triple coins for the needle.
- How do I get more coins?
- You earn coins by damaging hay bales and extracting needles. Upgrading your baler adds coins per layer removed, and the appraisal upgrade adds 10 extra coins per needle found.
