More about this game
Your goal is to connect a specific number of marks in a row before the computer opponent. Choose from three board sizes: 3x3, 5x5, or 10x10, each requiring a different line length to win. Take turns placing your X or O on the grid. The difficulty changes based on your chosen level (easy, medium, or hard) and the board size. A match ends when a player completes their line or the board fills up, rewarding you with coins to spend on new cosmetic styles.
Tips
- On the 5x5 board, you need to connect four marks in a row to win, so watch out for open-ended lines of three.
- The massive 10x10 board requires a continuous line of six marks to win, but it rewards the highest coin multiplier for a victory.
- Playing on the hard difficulty level increases your coin multiplier, helping you unlock new crosses, noughts, and backgrounds from the shop much faster.
FAQ
- How do I unlock new backgrounds?
- You can buy new backgrounds, as well as unique X and O styles, using the coins you earn from completing matches. Just open the shop menu from the title screen.
- How many marks do I need to win?
- It depends on the board size: you need three for the 3x3 board, four for the 5x5 board, and six for the large 10x10 board.
- Do I get coins if I tie a match?
- Yes, a draw will still reward you with a small amount of coins for your effort, though winning a match gives you a much larger payout.
