More about this game
Your goal is to pop balloons before they reach the end of the path and drain your 50 starting lives. As you progress through 20 waves, balloons get faster and tougher, introducing splitting Black balloons, frost-immune Purple balloons, and a 200-health Big Blimp boss. You earn cash by popping layers, which you spend on 12 different upgrades with 6 tiers each, like orbiting buzz saws, multi-shot, or healing crews. The run ends if you lose all your lives.
Tips
- Upgrade your Big Nails to level 2 or buy Drill upgrades to pop Lead balloons, which appear starting on wave 12 and are immune to basic nails.
- The Banana Bank upgrade increases the cash you earn from popping balloons up to a 3x multiplier, plus it grants end-of-wave interest based on your current cash.
- Frost nails slow down balloons for up to 3.5 seconds, but Purple balloons are completely immune to them, so ensure you have other damage sources like Boom rivets.
FAQ
- How do I beat Lead balloons?
- Lead balloons are immune to basic nails. You need Big Nails at level 2, Drill upgrades, Boom rivets, or rocket sentries to pop them. They start appearing on wave 12.
- What happens when a balloon reaches the end?
- You lose lives based on the balloon's remaining health and layers. For example, a Red balloon costs 1 life, while a Ceramic balloon costs much more. If your 50 lives drop to 0, the game is over.
- How do the sentries work?
- You can place up to 6 sentries by upgrading the Sentry card. The first two shoot basic nails, the next two shoot frost nails, and the final two shoot rockets that can pop Lead balloons.
