More about this game
In Crypt Dash, your goal is to navigate grid-based mazes and reach the exit portal. You move by dashing in a straight line, only stopping when you hit a solid wall. Along the way, collect dots, coins, and stars while avoiding lethal hazards like spikes, flying bats, and timed traps. The stages become more complex, introducing dart shooters, bouncers, and rising water. A run ends if you touch a hazard, but you can use collected coins to revive or buy shields.
Tips
- Plan your route carefully before moving. Since you can only stop at walls, make sure your dash path doesn't end directly on a dangerous spike trap.
- Try to collect all the small dots in a stage to open the chest at the end, which rewards you with a bonus of 25 extra coins.
- Buy shields before starting a difficult stage for 100 coins. Double-tap or press Spacebar during gameplay to activate a temporary 5-second shield that absorbs one hit.
FAQ
- How do I use a shield?
- You can buy shields for 100 coins on the stage start screen. During a level, double-tap the screen or press Spacebar to activate a 5-second shield that protects you from one hit.
- What happens if I die?
- If you hit a hazard without an active shield, you die. You can spend 200 coins to revive right where you fell, or restart the stage from the beginning for free.
- What are the slanted blocks for?
- The slanted blocks act as bouncers. When you dash into one, it automatically turns your character 90 degrees and keeps your dash going without stopping.
