More about this game
In Dice Dash Board, your goal is to reach the 30th tile before exhausting your limit of 12 dice rolls. The core loop involves rolling a standard six-sided die and watching your pawn hop along the snaking path. Difficulty comes from the board's layout of helpful and harmful spaces. A run ends in victory if you land on or pass tile 30, or in defeat if you use up all 12 rolls without crossing the finish line.
Tips
- Since you only have 12 rolls to cover 30 tiles, you need an average roll of at least 2.5 to reach the end successfully.
- Hitting a trap sends you back 2 spaces, which might force you to land on a red tile and lose 2 coins in a chain reaction.
- Your final score is based on your total coins, so hitting the +5 star tiles is crucial for maximizing your end-game result.
FAQ
- What happens if I land on a red tile?
- Landing on a red tile immediately deducts 2 coins from your stash. If you currently have fewer than 2 coins, your balance simply drops to zero without going into the negative.
- How do traps affect my movement?
- When you land on a trap space, your pawn is instantly moved backward by 2 tiles. This wastes the progress of your roll and triggers whatever tile you land on next.
- Can I keep playing if I run out of turns?
- No, you are strictly limited to 12 rolls per game. If your twelfth roll does not carry your pawn to tile 30, the game ends and you must start over.
