In Cozy Shelf, your goal is to arrange a set of books according to a specific rule, such as height, color gradient, or alphabetical order. You start with a messy tray of books and must drag them into the correct slots on the shelf. Each level has a time limit, and making mistakes or running out of time will penalize you. A run ends when you successfully place all books in the correct order or fail to do so within the time limit.

- You earn coins by completing levels. You get 1 coin for finishing, 2 coins for finishing quickly with 1 or fewer mistakes, and 3 coins for a fast, perfect run.
- What happens if I run out of time?
- If the timer runs out, you will receive a mistake penalty and the timer will reset slightly, allowing you to continue sorting.
- How do hints work?
- You can spend coins to buy a hint, which will highlight the correct slots for each book for 9 seconds.
